About this Event
The unveiling of the new historical marker at the Alpha House was the kickoff event to mark the centennial celebration of the oldest house within Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. The chapter received recognition from Brenda Jones, President of the Detroit City Council and from the Michigan Historical Commission. The chapter also presented a $10,000 check to from the March of Dime in recognition of our 2015 fundraising effort.
